30 Second Star is the passion project of show creator, producer, director, writer and host Gayle Kellon Christensen. Gayle, aka Kellon, has had many years of experience in the entertainment industry, most of which was attained in Los Angeles where she’s from. She has acted in front of the camera including nationally broadcast TV series and numerous television commercials, as well as in film. She is a multi-Telly award-winning editor and has edited several pilots, commercials, and TV series for FOX’s Speed Channel. She conceived of this idea in 2002 and produced the first episodes in 2011.

 

Her passion for showcasing up and coming commercial talent was born out of her experience as a commercial actor herself. She has always felt that even though these talented actors aren’t household names yet and are known mainly by their ad characters, they work just as hard to make it in their industry as those who are. They should be recognized early in their careers for their good work - so why not interview them and get to know them now?
